I first opened my Etsy shop in 2014. At this time, I had only a couple of listings, very few views, and absolutely zero sales. I set it up and just left it to its own devices, hoping that somehow someone would discover the shop on their own.
I made my first sale in February 2016.
Since the beginning of 2016, I began taking my Etsy business more seriously. Still meant to be just a side source of income I have expanded my shop to almost 20 different items and have made close to 40 sales! I know that’s not a lot compared to many success stories floating around, but I am happy with it… That’s $500 more than I would have had!
I am excited to use both this blog and my Etsy shop to display new creations; some things may be just a one-time for fun test of a pattern, while others may become new listings in the shop. I invite you to come check it out at http://www.etsy.com/shop/ReelBigStitch!
Congratulations! Wishing you much more success!

Congrats! I’ve opened my own etsy shop just recently. I’m kind of at the stage you were when you first started. It’s so much work!

It’s definitely work; more so than I thought it would be when I started! Worth it though to see people appreciating your designs! Good luck! 🙂
